Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Pricewise app, operated by Rinda Software. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Pricewise helps you build shopping lists and compare grocery prices. Prices come from public search results and community receipt scans — they are estimates and may be outdated, incomplete or wrong. Always confirm the price at the store. We are not affiliated with any retailer named in the app.
Accounts
You need an account to use the app. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be 13 or older. You can delete your account at any time (how).
Premium subscription
Premium ($4.99/month or $44.99/year after a 7-day free trial) unlocks full price comparison. Billing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms; it renews automatically until you cancel in your device's subscription settings. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by Apple/Google policy.
Community price data
When you scan a receipt, the extracted store, item and price data is contributed anonymously to the shared price database for all users. Only submit real receipts — deliberately submitting false prices, spam, or automated traffic may result in account termination.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rinda Software is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for purchase decisions made based on prices shown in the app; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes & termination
We may update the app, these terms, or discontinue the service; material changes will be posted here. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
